Before you start a video chat
Use a device and network you trust. Check what is visible behind you, close private documents, and remove anything that reveals your address, workplace, school, or daily routine.
Read camera and microphone permission prompts before accepting them. On a shared device, review the browser permissions again when the conversation ends.
- Keep identification documents and financial information out of view.
- Use a neutral background and avoid visible location clues.
- Do not continue if the identity or intent of the other person feels misleading.
During a conversation
Respect and consent apply throughout every interaction. Do not pressure another person to reveal personal information, perform an action, share private media, or move to another service.
End the chat when someone becomes abusive, threatening, sexually coercive, discriminatory, or persistently ignores a boundary. You do not owe an explanation for leaving.
Protect your identity and accounts
Never share passwords, verification codes, payment details, recovery links, or remote access to your device. Be cautious when someone presents an urgent financial story or asks you to prove trust with money or private images.
Use a unique password for your account and protect the email address or phone number connected to it. Contact support through official Vibon pages rather than an address sent to you by another user.
Report harmful behavior
Use the available report and block controls when content or conduct violates the Community Guidelines. Include the relevant username, time, and a clear description so the report can be reviewed with useful context.
Do not retaliate, threaten to publish private material, or continue a harmful exchange to collect more evidence. Save only what you can safely preserve and then leave the interaction.
Age and vulnerable users
Vibon is not intended for people under 18 or under the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction. Do not use the service to contact, exploit, sexualize, or solicit private content from minors.
Report any account or interaction that appears to involve child sexual exploitation or another immediate safety risk. Do not download, forward, or redistribute illegal material.
